RAM BasePlate focuses on the specific task of analyzing and designing steel base plates and their anchors. The engineer that uses RAM BasePlate will produce top-quality designs quickly and accurately.

RAM BasePlate facilitates the analysis and design of steel base plates and base plate anchors. The base plates may be subjected to axial, shear and uni-axial moment forces. The stiffened or un-stiffened base plate is designed per AISC-ASD or LRFD specifications. Anchors are designed for shear and/or tension forces per AISC specifications or anchor capacity tables. Base plate dimensions and anchor size can be optimized for all load combinations, both user-defined and generated by the program.

The software features a fully interactive Windows95/NT graphical user interface and boasts a myriad of capabilities designed to automate the most time-consuming tasks relative to steel base plate design.
